Fenella Noble creates sculptures from wire netting, a material more usually associated with utilitarian functions. In her hands it becomes a medium for the creation of very lively animal forms, which have an ethereal quality as the light penetrates the mesh. The sculptures are at once solid and transient, as though one sees the airy impression of a creature which has just vanished.
